FarmAsinara

FarmAsinara is a project born from the valorization of the unique natural resources of the Asinara Island. Not only the spontaneous plants that grow in this territory, but also the residues deriving from the processing of natural products, are studied and integrated into our cosmetic lines. Each product is the result of continuous scientific research, carried out thanks to the collaboration between the Officine Cosmetiche dell'Asinara in Cala Reale, the Asinara National Park and the Natural Substances Laboratory of the University of Sassari. This synergy allows us to identify and extract active ingredients from plants that are then used in cosmetic formulations. The production of all our creams, milks and soaps takes place entirely in the Officine Cosmetiche dell'Asinara, where the extracts of local spontaneous plants are tested to guarantee effectiveness and quality. The distribution and promotion of these exclusive products are managed by the Spin-Off Sostanze Naturali di Sardegna Srl, which also deals with the innovation of manufacturing processes, always with a focus on high technology and low environmental impact. Behind FarmAsinara there is a highly qualified team, composed of professionals with different skills, who work together for an ambitious project, based on solid values ​​and a strong commitment to research, efficiency, sustainability and customer care. This mix of skills is the result of a meeting between different professional skills that complement and strengthen each other. Prof. Giorgio Pintore, head of the Natural Substances Laboratory of Chemistry and Pharmacy at the University of Sassari, is the beating heart of research and development at FarmAsinara. Chairman of the Board of Directors, he oversees all research and coordination activities of the production laboratory, bringing his passion and expertise to ensure the excellence of our products. With a surface area of ​​approximately 52 square kilometers, Asinara reveals itself in a succession of mountainous areas, rugged coastlines, beaches and pristine coves, offering an extraordinary habitat for a unique biodiversity. The flora is also an authentic natural heritage: almost 700 plant species, 29 of which are endemic, paint a botanical mosaic of rare beauty. A precious treasure, protected and guarded with dedication by the Asinara National Park, which watches over this uncontaminated corner of Sardinia, making it a magical and timeless place.
