Vanity Pet has chosen to use high-quality raw materials sourced from companies that design and manufacture in Italy. Each product is the result of collaboration between workshops and small artisan businesses with extensive experience and excellent craftsmanship. Every item is handmade with the utmost care and attention, making our products a source of pride and satisfaction. Where possible, we try to use 100% recycled and eco-sustainable materials for customers who are attentive and sensitive to environmental issues. We also prefer suppliers with a short supply chain when choosing fabrics and leather, as this significantly reduces transport and, consequently, emissions. Our handmade dog sweaters are designed, created, and made entirely in Italy using yarns selected from the best manufacturers in Italy. We use natural yarns, preferring extra-fine, non-shrink merino wool for its warmth, comfort, thermoregulation, and softness, characteristics that are best suited to the creation of handmade garments for our furry friends. Mohair (obtained from the hair of Angora goats, whose fleece is long, soft, and shiny) is used to create sweaters with a “fluffy” effect, and other yarns such as alpaca wool or cashmere are used depending on the inspiration. Each handmade sweater is unique and one-of-a-kind, requiring precision and a great deal of time to make, depending on the characteristics of the model.
