Labolsina was born from an idea by Margherita Vaghi, the brand’s founder and creative director: to repurpose fabrics once used to furnish luxury hotels around the world and use them to create bags that skillfully blend the world of high fashion with a philosophy rooted in practicality. It was 2010 when Margherita launched the Labolsina project. The brand name is a tribute to Spain, which has always been her great passion, where she spent many years working as an art director. All Labolsina models have a name that always begins with the article “La.” This is because Labolsina is not “a” bag, but “the” bag, as unique as the woman who chooses it. LIMITED EDITIONS, HANDMADE, 100% MADE IN ITALY The fabrics used by Labolsina are available in limited quantities, but certain bag models, such as the Sporty and Layo-yo, can be produced in fabrics selected in collaboration with the buyer.
