Born in Venice in 1969, daughter of the well-known art publisher Bruno Alfieri Verde, she lives and works in Milan where she moved in 1982. After studying advertising graphics, since 1990 she has mainly dealt with graphics and communication, working for various publishers and well-known Italian companies and since 1996 for the family publishing house. Passionate about contemporary art and with a rich background in the discovery of digital art, Verde then approached contemporary jewelery in 2013, experimenting with her works as wearable sculptures, thus introducing a more physical and material aspect to the experience gained over the years. In 2014 Verde created his first collection of fashion jewellery, using nylon cords and brass threads, and in 2015 the first collection of paper jewellery. Born as small and precious works of art to wear, with a strong plastic connotation, they are made with the incredible use of paper, a simple material but with great potential. Verde transforms precious papers and recycled papers into elements that pass through the fusion of artistic influences and styles that are perceived as his full inspiration.
